so far my lent has been going well..at least in terms of the externals. not having gchat at work isn't really too bad but not being able to go on espn.com has left me with a lot more free time haha. this will hopefully translate into being more productive at work..and reading more current events in the news. i'm trying to keep up to date as best as possible on what is going on in Japan because one of my close friends from back home just left for missions in Tokyo about 2 weeks ago. he's sent a few emails talking about how he's had to make an evacuation kit and stuff so i'm definitely burdened to pray for him and the country.

one praise is that March Madness is starting up this week. anytime sports comes up at work, all the guys in my lab won't stop talking about the latest game or players. the same thing happened with fantasy football last semester. i'm thankful that God is opening up all these opportunities to talk to my coworkers but hopefully i'll be able to incorporate even the gospel in our conversations..which has definitely been hard in the past.
