Hi guys, this post I'm actually looking forward to doing (usually I force myself to do[at the last minute]), which is kind of exciting.
So since last week, nothing exciting really happened until Thursday Night/ Friday Came (no Rebecca Black pun intended)
For starters, my Thursday was just a super busy day from the afternoon. I basically went nonstop from 11-3:30. (Originally i put my schedule in, but it was really long, haha). But yeah, friday wasnt much different, as i went from 9am to 4am the next morning. Then saturday i went from 930AM-2AM, until my day finally slowed down on sunday.
But yeah, amongst all this craziness, God has shown me some amazing things. For starters, for my AIV largegroup, we had Allen Wakabayashi, who we brought from U of I, to speak for us. It was a pretty big deal apparently since we had 4-5 ish intervarsity chapters represented for that one largroup (AIV, MEIV,GreekIV, MSU: ACIV, and 1 person from Western) Basically the speaker talked to us about Daniel and how God really came through for him even amidst a seemingly horrid situation. He ended his talk with this video, which really touched me and spoke to me about how God always provides and how awesome he is to us.
But yeah, the morning, he gave a talk about evangelism that legitimately blew my mind. It was sort of about his book "Kingdom Come" (which I'm now reading) and how it applies to the college campus. Its too much to write on this blog, so if you read this and want to know, lets meet up and I'll try to give a jist of what the talk was. but yeah, it completely shifted my paradigm on the gospel. But yeah, after that, i hobbled to basketball, then iron chef, then some chilling with friends. so it was a pretty busy few days.
In conclusion, despite the fact that school work isn't going as well, and that I'm a little stressed about the future and stuff. God is just too good for me to worry about other things
