Two fish came up to two clam friends that were enjoying a a huge chocolate bar. The fish watched as the clams ate the entire chocolate bar. One fish said "can you believe they didn't even offer to share?!" the other fish said in reply "What did you expect? They're two shellfish!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH bad pun, or just a pun. (is there such thing as a good pun?)
but it introduces my topic of the day! selfishness.
Way back in December during the last LCG of the first semester, Chris asked me a question: "What do you want to grow in next semester?" My answer was to be more selfless and that didn't really work out, but I learned a lot about selfishness.
I'm still learning and God may completely own me tomorrow BUT as of right now, these are my thoughts. It is not possible to not be selfish. The only thing that differs from a selfish person and a "selfless" person is their interests. The selfless person has the ideals of others before their own, but that is their ideal. Acting to help others is what the want to do. Still acting for themself just a little bit twisted. True selflessness is to have God's interests as your own. Still acting for yourself, just God's will is your wish :3
There is one good pun btw. Atheism is a non-prophet organization!
Did you guys hear about the guy who got hit with a can of soda?
Lucky it was a soft drink
