Update of my thanksgiving break...
I was supposed to leave AA on Wednesday at 3pm with my aunt and drive with her to her house in Toledo and spend the night, leaving early in the morning to arrive at my house. What actually happened was my aunt decided to send my cousin to get me instead. Now he had a concert that he was supposed to go to that was in Detroit so he would be pretty close, makes logical sense. Until the concert ended up going until midnight. It was fine though because I got to talk to my room mate a lot, had some interesting skype conversations, and got to see what markley was like when it is silent, eerie but cool. Anyway my cousin comes and picks me up and i finally get to his house 10 hours after I was supposed to. Once I got there, my aunt fed me home cooked korean food -- heaven.
The next day instead of leaving in the morning we left in the afternoon, but I still got to my house at 6p.m. and was fed thanksgiving dinner, epic win. SO many people were at my house and i wasnt able to sleep in my bed... lame but it's ok cause the house was actually quiet when i went to sleep and i got to play with my new baby cousin who is 3 months old, but hes a chubster; he wears 1 year old clothing >.>
Friday was interesting to say the least. I went to my friend's house to reunite with all of my high school friends and it was the strangest feeling ever. We all definitely changed but we all changed in the same way haha, weird. We talked until late into the night swapping college stories some of which were hilarious.
Saturday has been boring thus far, but I am leaving to meet with one of my wives (I need LCG bro haha) and catch up with her.
Missions week:
I didnt go to 1040 -- regretting it STILL. But throughout missions week, I found myself not really focusing on missions in the conventional sense, but i found myself thinking more about missions in AA (or right now in pittsburgh) obviously not all my friends are Christian and even those who are, arent really. These are people that are easy for me to reach and during missions week i really felt that God was calling me to do something about it :)
Anyway, i miss the boat like CRAZY and i'm realy excited to see you all again this week.
