hehe, my thanksgiving has been a pretty special time. Aside from dinner last night and stopping by gap and macy's (my mom got pretty excited about two really cheap blankets ^_^) for black friday , it's been pretty quiet. But family relations last week were kinda shaky and so it was cool to see God mend things together around!
It was around thanksgiving when I accepted Christ as Lord and so it is usually a reminiscent time. But this year round, I have had a very "present" mindset, and for some reason, didn't think about past experiences or feelings, but was thankful for things at the moment. And there are a lot! But I'm especially thankful for y'all!
Missions Week was soooo cool. Soo cool. And it redirected me on why I was really on this campus. Man, God is so good. One thing that the Holy Spirit really convicted me of, was giving glory to people and glory to God. All the Glory belongs to God! But I was taking (stealing...) some of that glory for myself or giving glory to people rather than God and His Word. And so God is really challenging me to live for His pleasure. Matt. 26:40 also challenged me to spend time with Jesus more. Overall, God's been showing me that living like a intercessory missionary is lifestyle. Spending time with Jesus is lifestyle, Interceding is lifestyle, loving is lifestyle, and sharing the gospel is lifestyle! Honestly, it's something that I haven't done much of.... but let's encourage each other to live for Jesus here on the UMich campus :)
