it was great being back in jersey - so actually we moved into an apartment and it was my first time seeing it - and also visiting philly.
i got home wednesday night thanks to my dad's colleague's daughter who's a med student at msu, and it was really awesome because our music tastes lined right up. so wednesday i had dinner at home and my mom surprised me with new clothes! i finally have a winter jacket and gloves. annd i also got scolded for having gained so much weight, which means i'm officially banned from denny's, muffins, soft serve, and late night snacks......
thanksgiving day was fun, too. we went to a family friend's house and didn't have turkey or potatoes or corn :-(
they're a korean family from singapore and they think turkey's disgusting, so we had a lot of asian fusion dishes instead. i got to talk to one of the kids who's a junior in high school now and he and i had a lot in common too - i really need to find something other than music to relate to people with hahaha! we played wii sports and i totally rocked at virtual bowling, so can we go bowling again soon? i'll uplift our team finally
oh, my mom's cousin came with us too, and she spent the night.
friday, we went to philly to hang out at my aunt's house, after going to trader joe's. I LOVE TRADER JOE'S !
we had a real thanksgiving dinner there, and i played with my cousins, who aren't blood related but they're closer to me than my real cousins anyway. i hadn't seen them in the longest while and they've gotten even sillier ♥

hubert, haven, han
friday night i had meaningful conversations about college with my mom, and i'm really glad she and i are similar in many ways.
okay, so here's the ohshoot/ptl moment.
saturday at noon we leave for la guardia airport (nyc) cause my flight's at 445. it takes a little over an hour to get there from princeton, and so we're like forty minutes there and my dad asks, "you brought your passport right?"
oh shooooot no i didn't.....
dad: ".....you need a form of identification...............what do you have?"
uh, my mcard
total silence in the car
see, my passport's in my dorm and my roommate's out so no one can even get in and send it to us.
i don't have a driver's license - please take the judgment out of your eyes next time you see me
so literally the only thing i can possibly use is my permanent resident card WHICH! my dad thinks he sent me
so i'm really screwedded right
my dad turns the car back and we go 90 back home to see if my perm res card's still there.
so here i am, sinking into my seat, my parents can't even get pissed cause they haven't seen me in awhile, and there's a chance my permres is at my dorm too.
we get home, my parents run to find it, and i'm like, kneeling in the car praying for it to be there and after about five minutes my parents are back to the car AND
my dad has the card in his hand.
we speed back up route 1, through bkn, and to la guardia and it's 350. i have to be at the gate by 4
talk about ptl, ptl like crazy dude
oh and i told my parents a lot about life group and they really appreciate you guys for being so loving
they tried to leave you a thank you video but um
